The Porodo Soundtec Wristsound Active Wireless Speaker -STSWBS in everyday use

A speaker is judged on how it sounds in a normal room rather than in a showroom. Size does affect bass — there is no way around the physics — but placement changes the result more than most people expect.

Portable speakers trade some output for the ability to take them anywhere, which for most people is the right trade.

Sound

• Suitable for music at home or outdoors
• Louder and fuller than a phone speaker

Practicality

• Connects wirelessly to phones and tablets
• Easy to move between rooms

Best Suited For

Gatherings at home, a majlis, outdoor evenings, and anyone who wants music in a room without wearing headphones.

First steps after unboxing

Pair it once over Bluetooth and it will normally reconnect on its own afterwards. Placing a speaker near a wall increases the bass; putting it in a corner increases it further, sometimes too much. Move it around before deciding it does not sound right.
